I have an obsession with the fabric line Scrumptious.
I especially love the aqua prints. :) The splashes of reds and pinks make a great combination!
I had some small scraps of the aqua prints and could not just throw them out, so I made a fun little patchwork pillow.
I made an envelope style pillow cover. You can find my tutorial here. It was so easy and literally took me less than an hour from start to finish on this project! Don't you love those quick and easy projects? It's so gratifying to start and finish something in one sitting. I am pretty sure pillow covers are my newest obsession. I cannot get enough of them! :) If you haven't tried making one, then you should take a look at the tutorial, they are so simple and take no time at all.
I just had to share this photo that I took the other night of the sunset! It was so striking!
I live in the middle of no-where, so I can get these really beautiful landscape photos without any buildings or power lines! :) I was driving home from the store, and the sunset just kept getting better and better as I was driving. I knew I only had a few minutes to capture this picture, so I hurried in the house when I got home and got my camera and took this picture.
I love how it turned out, and I honestly can't remember ever seeing such a beautiful sunset. :)

I love Scrumptous! I just haven't decided whether to buy a fat quarter bundle or a layer cake.
I too have an obsession with the Scrumptious line! I just made a quilt for our dog groomer using it. I also have an obsession with this designers older line "Ruby". I have started a quilt for myself out of that line.
I really need to make a pillow....there so cute.....;o)
LOve the shot of the sunset you captured!! Like you say "they only last a small amount of time". But now with the photo, you can enjoy forever! Your pillow cover is pretty, too.
Those colors are great - I have all the stripes and dots in my stash : ) And gorgeous sunset - lucky you with such an unobstructed view!
