Phone Dump Friday!

I crave Friday, like I crave dark chocolate, sleeping in, and mexican food.  Friday means that my husband ususally only has to work a half a day and I can go to the fabric store!!! :)  No, really.  The fabric store in town is only open until six o'clock everyday (I live in a small town remember?) Plus, there was this one time that I attempted to cart all three of my children into this small little shop.  Let's just say I will NOT do that again.

Anyways, I was looking through my phone pictures today and figured I should share them with you.  I don't know about how everyone else feels, but the blogs I like to read the most are personal.  Yes, there is this thing called too much information, but I find that I am attracted to blogs and go back daily to read what they have to say when they share not only awesome crafts/recipes, but when they share apart of themselves.

When they do this, they seem like an old friend.  Someone I could meet up with and have a decent conversation.  They seem human.  Not these superficial people that have perfect lives.  Because let's be honest here, no one has a perfect life--certainly not me!

So here's my phone dump:

I got a wild hair....last week and decided to clean out our junk room, so I could have an official sewing/crafting room.  As you can see I had some work to do!

This is the after pic.  I thought I did a pretty good job!

You see all that fabric?  Well 99% of that fabric was given to me by my friend Kathy.  She is pretty much awesome!

Charlie falling asleep while banging on my door while I was getting ready for the day.  Yes, that happens to be a half eaten cookie at his feet. Yes, that ugly blue/green carpet is real. Enough said.

This little beauty is a quilt that was hanging in the fabric store in Midway, Utah.  I liked the design, the scrappiness, and the color combo was really interesting.

You don't have this app?  You are missing out! This is the best Quilting App in the whole world.  You need to get it.  Like NOW.

This girl lost one of her front teeth the other day, and a couple hours later I pulled out her other front tooth because it was hanging by a thread and I couldn't handle looking at it wiggle anymore and it was really grossing me out and this is a really long run-on sentence. :)

Don't tell me you don't get excited when you are browsing pinterest and see something on there that was made by you.   This made me smile when I saw it, and I immediately took a screen shot of this momentous occasion so that I could show it to Charlie when he's older and tell him he was a little celebrity on pinterest. Okay, I may be exaggerating just a tad, but I really did take this screen shot and texted it to my mom, which led her to finding said picture and re-pinning it.  :)

Sorry for the blurry pic, but my baby Avie woke up on Wednesday with a horrible rash covering her whole body.  Turns out she got some sort of virus and it just has to run it's course.....

My sewing space did not stay clean for long...plus my husband stole my other table from me and wont give it back! ;) He thinks he needs to study for his Professional Engineering Exam for some reason and thinks he needs a table to do it on.

Why did I take a picture of an iphone plug?  Well because I found this lovely plug in our microwave in the back, where I did not see it before I decided to use the microwave to warm up a hot dog.  You read that right.  I microwaved a plug and lived to tell you about it.  The house still has a funny stench.  You can thank Charlie for that one. (I promise I watch my children, it just so happens that my Charlie is a little more than any one human being can handle and if I take my eye off of him for one minute, there are usually some serious reprucussions.

Like I said, Charlie is more than one person can handle.  Some days I wonder how I am still surviving.

I don't know about you, but I have some major sewing to catch up on this weekend!

What are your plans?

Do you like reading blogs that are more on the personal side?

What's your favorite blog to read and why?

Talk to you soon,

Ps: I thought it might be fun to host a weekly linky party where you could share your phone dump friday of your own?  Yay?  Nay?

So fun to read! I do love reading real and authentic blogs. I don't like that most mom bloggers hide the real action. You can lose a chance to connect when you aren't authentic! Adorable children by the way! :)
