Simple Square Frame-Advice

Over the weekend, my hubby and I made this square frame.

We made it out of very rustic wood and just nailed the it together.

It seriously took 15 minutes.

I LOVE the way it looks. I love how rustic and old it looks and the simplicity of it.

However, I don't know what to do with it!
I was thinking I wanted use it as a wreath, rather than a frame but I have no idea what to do!

Any thoughts or suggestions?

If you have a garden, you could do something like this:

But the wreath idea is cool, too. I just googled "square wreath" and a TON of interesting pictures came up, with squares covered in pine, flowers, fabric, vegetables, toys...you name it!

I like the wreath idea too. Or maybe you could make it a frame of some sort. Add chicken wire and make it a memo board, or jewelry hanger...I'm sure whatever you decide..it will turn out just super!

Maybe hang a small wreath inside of it? W/ some ribbon tied to the wreath & the frame?
