I have been working hard on getting things together for Hannah's Birthday Party this weekend! Today I worked on the party favors. White chocolate popcorn! I love this stuff. Not only is it delicious, but it is super easy to make. I made 4 batches and filled 30 bags.
Here is the recipe:
White Chocolate Popcorn
1/2 cup popcorn kernels
1 package of white chocolate chips
Directions: Air pop your popcorn. Try and get all the kernels out once it's popped. In a microwave safe bowl, melt 1 package of white chocolate chips. Poor over popped popcorn and gently fold until all the popcorn is coated. Pour onto parchment paper, or greased foil and let dry.
**for a special touch, melt some chocolate chips and put into a piping bag or ziplock bag. Cut the tip and swirl over popcorn.
For this popcorn, I also melted extra white chocolate chips and colored it with pink food coloring and swirled it over of the top.
Fill decoarative bags full of dried popcorn and tie with a ribbon!
