So last week I posted this tutorial over at Brown Paper Packages, so I thought I would post it on here in case anyone missed out last week! 🙂
Right now I am loving the vintage look. Â I am slightly obsessed with lace at the moment and I can’t stop crafting with it! So today I thought I would show you a project that is both vintage looking and uses lace!
I started out with this frame.  If you don’t have a frame lying around your house I am always finding a ton at my local thrift store for super cheap. Â
Alright, let’s get started!
Step 1: Paint your frame. Â I started with a coat of antique white so that when I distressed the edges white would show through. Â
After your white paint dries, paint your frame black. Â When the black dries, use some sandpaper to rough up the edges so it looks like this:
Step 2: Cut out a piece of cardboard or matte board to fit the size of your frame.Â
Step 3: Paint it black
Step 4: Cut out a piece of paper to the size you like and mod podge it onto your cardboard.
Step 5: Cut out a key. (I used my cricut machine) Then mod podge it onto your paper.Â
Step 6: Attach lace. Â Apply a thin layer of mod podge to the edge of your board.Â
Then carefully place lace onto mod podge. Â You will want to trim the edges to the size you want.Â
Step 7: Hot glue black ribbon around the edge of your lace.Â
That’s it! You’re done! I love how it turned out, and I love the vintage feel of it.Â
 Linking up to these parties!
